Five Habits of People Who Aren’t Stupid

Sometimes I like to provide useful information that can help people of all political persuasions, though not that often.  Today is such a time.  I proudly present five habits of people who aren’t stupid.

People who aren’t stupid don’t click on links in emails or strange web pages.  They know that that is much the same as walking into abandoned houses on dark side streets because someone inside offers you candy.  Most of you wouldn’t do that, would you?

People who aren’t stupid don’t give personal information out over the phone to anyone, no matter what the caller tells you.  The IRS, FBI and Illuminati are not going to cold call you if they have an issue with you.  They like to make things more official and personal than that.

People who aren’t stupid don’t put themselves in dangerous situations if they don’t have to do so.  It is unfortunate that there are times and places where you are more likely to be victimized but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t avoid those situations.  Better safe than sorry.

People who aren’t stupid don’t blame other people for their situation in life, even if they have every right to do so.  Always focus your energy on what you can control, not what you can’t.  That’s what successful people do.  (I know.  I met one once.)

Finally, people who aren’t stupid don’t let other people think for them.  If you find yourself reacting to something the way you’ve been conditioned to instead of thinking about it first, you are being manipulated.  Whether it is the media or the government or some other group, don’t let anyone do that to you.

As always, thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
